The staff were welcoming and flexible about checkout, and the room stayed clean and quiet despite being quite close to the station. Mine was very basic and on the third floor, but the balcony had a great view. There was no coffee in the room, and breakfast was below average.

At night the neighborhood felt a bit sketchy, even though the hotel is close to the train station. Inside, the corridors were dark enough to bring The Shining to mind, and the decor looked dated and poorly maintained. One of the rooms we booked had a terrible smell, like someone hadn't showered for three days and had been sweating heavily.

For a solo traveler, it has everything you need. The staff were very proper and check-in and checkout were efficient. It's ideal for work trips since the hotel is directly opposite the train station.

The mountain view from the hotel was stunning, a lovely way to start the day. The location is right in central Brig, so exploring town and getting around was easy. Staff were so kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile, and the whole place felt fresh and well cared for. Cleanliness was outstanding. I had a comfortable, pleasant stay and would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We got a quiet family room that was really two bedrooms, plus a shower and toilet, and there were even some family games. The value was much better than I expected. It was a perfect one-night stop just before the Glacier Express, and the kind staff let us check in early.
