We stayed one night on April 16 and had a brilliant time. The receptionist greeted us by singing, such a lovely lady. We ate at the restaurant and really enjoyed the meal. The only thing missing for us was a small fridge. I tried to leave a review through the email they sent, but tapped the first star and then it disappeared. We'll definitely come back for two nights, and we've already passed the details on to friends.

The birthday surprise for my husband made our one-night stay unforgettable: they decorated the room beautifully and left a thoughtful handwritten card. It was such a personal gesture, and we felt cared for from the moment we arrived. The room was spotless and beautifully designed, with a breathtaking mountain view. Breakfast had great quality and variety, and the staff were exceptionally kind, professional, and welcoming. Every detail showed real care for guests. Everything was at the highest level, and we'd love to return and would highly recommend it.

The square below our room kept drawing us out each evening, with its lovely Christmas decorations and easy places to eat and have a drink. We’d planned to use Hotel Stockalperhof just as a place to rest between day trips, but staying right in the heart of town turned out to be a treat. The hotel was welcoming and quiet, just what suited us.

We were sorry not to have booked a second night. The reception team were so helpful, and the free coffee and croissants at breakfast were just right. A perfect spot in the centre of Brig, and I’d definitely recommend it.

That lovely Christmas tree sits right outside the hotel. The place was clean and nice, and you really can't beat the location. There was a young waiter at breakfast who was so nice, though I've forgotten his name.
