The room was roomy and pleasant, and the hot shower was nice. Breakfast was good, and the room felt like good value. It was a bit of a walk from the train station, though manageable. Some restaurant dishes cost about as much as the room, so I picked up a sandwich at the grocery store instead.

The only thing I wasn't keen on was how soft the pillows were. Otherwise, I got a great room, possibly through luck, with a large massage bathtub and no neighbors on the tub side. The walls were thick enough that I heard no noise, and they even left free bottled water despite the good tap water. The staff were very nice, the room was amazing, the price was very good, and the location was fantastic. It's listed as three stars, though I think it deserves four. Really impressive hotel.

We tried the Stroganoff. It tasted good, though it was very expensive and, to my surprise, wasn't prepared at the table.

Our spacious suite was lovely for us and the dog, and the hotel stay was exceptional. We got a warm welcome, a good breakfast, and a generous packed lunch for our first day hiking. Restaurant service on a busy Sunday was slow and a little unfriendly, though. Still, I'd highly recommend the hotel.

Lunch was a really poor experience. The staff were rude and unfriendly, the food was overpriced and bone dry, and getting some sauce felt like a whole mission. They also made sarcastic remarks when no tip was left. Very rude, very disappointing 👎🏽
