We had booked a dinner, and two different women served us. One was quite rude, while the other was friendly. The food was poor quality. The “Gestesuppe” wasn’t very good, and the “Winter Beilage” was no better. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for dinner.

Everything was so quiet and peaceful, and I ended up sleeping like Heidi in the mountains, feeling completely safe and content. My children and I had a wonderful weekend in Brigels, staying at the Gasthof Surselva. We felt at home straight away. The views and surroundings were beautiful, and the rooms were clean and nicely furnished. I usually sleep badly away from home and never eat at restaurants, but we had dinner in the cozy dining room, enjoyed superb food, and met some lovely people. The staff were very friendly, and it was nice hearing Romansh spoken. I was lucky the terrace wasn’t open, since I think it might have been too noisy otherwise. We’ll definitely return to Brigels and explore the area more next time.

The grill selection was excellent, and an older gentleman cooked the meat beautifully over the open fire. The warm and cold sides buffet was great too. We visited for Grill Sunday, which runs every Sunday in summer. It was our first time at this restaurant, but definitely not our last!
