The atmosphere felt elegant but still welcoming, and the service was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Every dish was expertly prepared and presented. What an incredible meal, highly recommend!

The veal escalope was cooked perfectly, and the food and service were good enough to make the higher prices, for a restaurant outside Zurich, largely understandable. Still, I was surprised that coffee and tap water came with hidden charges, even in the Gaststube. I’m happy to pay more for quality like this, but those extra costs should be clear upfront because they take away from the value.

There’s a wide choice of vegetarian, meat, and seafood dishes, all made with care and full of flavor. Every plate felt like a real treat. I can’t wait to come back.

The bread was fresh and delicious, and the menu was presented nicely. Everything was cooked just right, especially the magnificent lamb. The food feels comforting with a touch of class, and the wine list is small but good. The staff were super friendly, and there’s also a private dining room. Being a guest here felt like a privilege. I loved this little gem a short hop from lake Zurich, and had a truly memorable night. Looking forward to coming back. Chapeau ❤️
