The old garden and patio gave lunch a really distinctive feel, and the food and dessert were both amazing. We came across Restaurant La Coudre by chance while riding our tandem along Route 50 on the Jura South Face. The hospitality was great, and it’s definitely worth a detour, whether you’re on a bike or in a car.

The local food is simple, well prepared, and delicious, and we were greeted warmly. It’s a lovely countryside stop, with an authentic, pleasant feel from the animals around the former farmhouse. One of the best places to eat in Céligny, and the setting is truly charming.
The dishes were full of flavor and very well executed, and there are some lovely wines to discover. The menu itself is simple and delicious. We were welcomed warmly into this enchanting place, with its large room, high ceilings, beautiful parquet floor, and windows looking out over greenery. It’s hard to believe you’ve just driven over the highway. You can sense a story behind the lovely setting, and that passionate people are behind it. Thank you for the welcome and the food.
