The train station is only about a five-minute walk away, and the place sits on the edge of Chur's old town. Pack light, though: there are spiral stairs and no elevator, so lots of luggage can be awkward to bring up at check-in. Our first night, there was no hot water, so we couldn't shower. Mr. Donato called a technician, but they couldn't fix it, apparently because of a fuse issue. The staff moved us to another available room where everything worked. Mr. Donato and the rest of the team also treated us to dinner at their Mamma Mia restaurant because of the trouble. The pizzas were really amazing, and it's worth a visit even if you aren't staying there. BEST STAFF!!!

Such a lovely place to get away and take in some of the best scenery. The host communicated well and was kind and friendly. I'd recommend it.

We arrived for our reservation but couldn't stay because of a water problem. The owner asked us to find another hotel and said he would cover the price difference. Since we booked on the day, the only hotel that met our needs cost more, so we stayed there. Afterward, I emailed to request the difference, but the owner ignored me. I had booked through booking.com, and customer service had contacted him too, but he still didn't respond. In the end, he avoided paying the extra cost.

There's an Italian restaurant called Mamma Mia on the ground floor, and they also rent out the apartment hotel. The place has a full set of kitchen items: an electric kettle, microwave, fridge, frying pans, pots, and cutlery. Towels are provided too. It's a fairly easy walk from Chur Station and costs less than other hotels, so I found it convenient. The bunk beds made the room feel a bit like a student apartment.
