The Alpina Mountain Resort feels like a hidden gem. The rooms, spa, and slopeside setting would cost $750-1000 a night at a larger ski hill, in my view. Tschiertschen is the biggest small local hill in Switzerland, and the resort sits right by the slopes. It was extensively renovated in 2015, so everything feels new and thoughtfully planned. Marco, Dimatar, and the team delivered impeccable five-star service, and the whole stay surpassed my expectations.

Dimitri and the rest of the team were so helpful and welcoming. I was really comfortable in the warm room, with its beautiful mountain view. The food was delicious too, and I loved having such a spacious, clean spa. What a fantastic stay, thank you.

The patio was lovely, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. We only stayed one night in summer, which left me wishing we had more time. The rooms were beautiful, the views gorgeous, and the location stunning. Photos don't do it justice. The staff were friendly, fun, and good-natured while giving great service. I absolutely loved our stay.

The place looked beautiful at first, but the woman at reception spoke to us in a condescending, snobby way. We had a payment issue and asked to speak to the manager. His attitude was even worse, if you can imagine that. Never again.
