Nash Pratik Hotel

Quiet hotel near the airport, with a free shuttle every 20 to 30 minutes. Ask the hotel for a tourist travel card so you can get around the city. Bring a universal travel charger, since the hotel doesn’t provide one. You can buy one there for 6 Swiss francs.

Rooms are compact, but warm, quiet, clean and practical, and the bathroom and shower worked really well. Check-in and checkout were efficient, and the multilingual reception and bar staff were pleasant. The airport shuttle runs regularly, and the driver was helpful. Prices were competitive. This was our eighth stay at Nash hotels, and it’s a thoroughly decent package.

The hotel is conveniently close to the airport. My problem was that the information I got when booking didn’t match what I found when I arrived, which I wasn’t happy about. I’d rather not go into the details, as it would take a long time to explain, but the hotel should improve how it organizes online customer service so guests get accurate information beforehand. I’m posting this late, but I mean it as feedback to help the hotel.

The airport location is very convenient for an overnight stay before flying from Geneva, and the free shuttle leaves every 20 minutes. Three Nash hotels share the complex, with two restaurants on site. There’s also a small shopping area a short walk away for travel supplies. The rooms are small but well appointed, and the convenience partly makes up for the problems. Several things in the lobby and room weren’t working, which seemed odd for such a new, modern facility. Our AC was out, so they gave us a rather flimsy little fan. The only window was locked, and maintenance had to unlock it because the front desk didn’t have a key for its special mechanism. The fridge stayed warm even after maintenance tried to fix it, and the building’s card reader worked only intermittently. Maintenance seems to be a weak point here.
