Hôtel le Mont Paisible

The south-facing views are stunning, and the rooms are large and comfortable. This boutique hotel is in a great spot in Cran Montana, a 5-minute walk from one of the resort gondolas. The staff are friendly and helpful, and dinner was excellent; breakfast was great too. Now that Crans Montana is included in the Epic Pass, it's a great base for skiing in Switzerland. You can get to Crans Montana by train from Geneva airport.

Cordelia, the receptionist and owner, made us and our little dog feel at home. We also enjoyed a lovely dinner, delicious and served in generous portions. We only stayed one night, but are already looking forward to coming back. We were upgraded to a beautiful room with a view, and everything about the stay felt perfect from beginning to end. Thank you!

The food at the restaurant was delicious, and parking was good. We were met by friendly multilingual staff in a quiet, tree-lined setting, with spectacular views of the Pennine Alps, including the Weisshorn. It’s a short walk from the lifts. I think they can arrange golf, if that's your thing.

The included breakfast had lots to choose from: cereals, fruit, yoghurts, fresh breads, bacon, and eggs, among other things. We also ate at the restaurant in the evenings, where the food was lovely and the friendly service matched the rest of the hotel. Staff were helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We only booked a couple of nights, but wished we could stay longer. On arrival, we were told our room had been upgraded to one with a balcony and a stunning Alpine view. We visited in July, when the hotel was quiet. We’d highly recommend it and would love to return one day.
