Larix has a cozy, traditional chalet feel, and it’s run with a friendly, family atmosphere. Set in a quiet residential part of Davos Platz, Chalet Hotel Larix is about a 10-minute walk from the center. It suits a relaxed stay, with ski lifts and nature trails easy to reach, while still offering modern comforts.

This was my second visit, and it was just as perfect. Everyone is friendly, things are uncomplicated, and you feel at home right away. I really liked the breakfast, especially the homemade jam and pie, good bread, cheese, and more. The decor is lovely too, put together with taste and feeling. There are family photos from another time, a curling rock holding the door open, and lots of small touches that make a difference.

The rooms are on the small side, but they’re nice and cozy, and the breakfast buffet is great. The hotel is close to Davos Platz railway station and Jackobshorn bahn.
