The food is great, the hotel is clean, and getting to Davos or the pistes by bus is easy. Ernst and the team always give us a warm welcome. I’ve stayed here most years over the past ten and am already planning to return next February.

I’ve been here twice for business and would happily come back. It’s an older hotel, but well looked after, and the setting is wonderfully quiet. The owner is friendly, and breakfast is lovely.

The fresh breakfast buffet includes bread and “Mütschli” from the region's best bakery, and the cooking is tasteful, creative, and top-notch. We also enjoy the spacious sun terrace overlooking the Sertig Valley and the ample parking around the hotel. For us and our dog Baghira, Sporthotel Clavadel in the Landwasser Valley/Prättigau is just right. It’s about five minutes by car from Davos, with public transport right at the door, and makes a good base for hiking, cycling, or skiing. The surroundings are green and peaceful; the facilities are functional and homey, and the staff are modest but attentive. Management is thoughtful and flexible, the value is excellent, and we lack nothing. We’re always glad to return, even for just a few days.

The view is lovely and the service was friendly, but the food was a disaster. The rösti smelled like fish, and the cordon bleu was soggy and undercooked. The prices for food like that are outrageous. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend eating at this restaurant.
