Our whole family enjoyed the stay. The rooms were warm, clean, and had what we needed, with plenty of parking too. There were useful local sightseeing magazines in the room, including some for children. You can tell the hotel really cares about its guests. We’d recommend it.

The reception staff were friendly, and the heating kept the room warm on cold days. Parking and the location were good, and they could provide a kettle on request. The bathroom had hot water, though it was very old, as were the rooms, which felt like they dated from the 1980s. Internet was unreliable. At 100 CHF without breakfast, it was expensive.

The staff were perfectly cordial, but the breakfast was a strange setup: served at the table with no plates. We were also charged separately even though we’d been told breakfast was included. Cleanliness wasn’t up to scratch, the decor was dated and a little broken, and there was no housekeeping. Sorry, but I wouldn’t stay again.

The rooms were dated, but spotless, spacious, bright, and functional, and the place was quiet. Staff were lovely and helpful. Self check-in was easy, and they let us check out late without an extra charge. I’d come back.

The room was so spacious it felt like a four-star place, and the location was very good. Breakfast was fine, though there weren’t many choices for vegans. A good three-star hotel.
