The free minibar sounds like a perk, but it was rarely restocked, and when it was, there was hardly anything in it. The room's kitchen also wasn't what we were promised. We were told when booking, and again by another staff member when we arrived, that there was no stove, but that we could get a plug-in hotplate at reception. The next day, the woman at reception first refused to give me one because we'd only booked for two days, a restriction nobody had mentioned. I pushed back because I'd paid for a room with a kitchen and had already bought groceries. She eventually handed it over, very reluctantly. They also made me sign a form saying damage could cost us another 1,500 Swiss francs. It said we couldn't fry meat, either. After I signed, I had to say what I planned to cook before they would give me the hotplate. If I'm paying for a proper kitchen, I want to choose what I cook. The receptionist was very rude about the whole thing. My advice is simple: book somewhere else. Hotel Conti promises plenty but, in my experience, doesn't deliver, and it feels very unfriendly to customers.

The only things I liked were the parking across the street and the minibar being refilled. The rest of the stay was stressful, especially because friends staying at the same time went through a very stressful situation too. We felt unsafe and unsupported. There was visible mold in the bathroom, a broken mirror, a damaged curtain, and no phone in the room to call reception. When we reported the problems, they weren't handled professionally or supportively. The manager came across as defensive and confrontational instead of acknowledging the issues or apologizing, which only added stress. Reception is open from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM. There was no staff on site outside those hours, and the video intercom meant long waits for help. For me, this didn't meet an acceptable standard and felt like no more than a 2-star hotel. If you value your money, I'd strongly suggest staying elsewhere.

The room was fairly clean, but the bathroom definitely wasn't 4-star quality. The bigger issue was the night with no staff available: around 03:00, a group of young people went into room 210 and kept singing, dancing, and partying until about 06:00. After that, there was no chance of sleeping. We complained several times, but nothing helped, and there was nobody to complain to. First and last stay for me.

The location was very good, and the apartment was spacious, minimalist, and otherwise nice. But the listing's “two baths” description was misleading. There was one toilet with a washbasin, and a separate room with a shower and washbasin. The toilet was downstairs while the bedroom was upstairs, which didn't work for us. We wouldn't have booked if we'd known. It didn't feel properly cleaned or maintained. The refuse bin hadn't been emptied before we arrived, and the microwave and kitchen floor were dirty. There were permanent marks on the living area floor that looked like blood, but thankfully weren't. The toilet door handle was broken and fell off whenever we tried to close it. The Velux window in the upstairs shower room was broken too and wouldn't open. We took photos to attach.
