Apartment in Disentis

There’s a generous balcony with morning sun, and the bedrooms are a good size. The apartment is spacious, and the location is great.

The apartment in Disentis was clean, peaceful, and roomy, with all the appliances we needed to relax. The village has lovely old buildings, including one of Switzerland’s first monasteries, along with plenty of good restaurants and a couple of supermarkets. I found lots of hiking trails that worked well for winter runs. Cross-country skiing was great too, with easy and more challenging routes through beautiful scenery.

Our host was kind and went out of his way to help us get our bearings. He even let us stay a few extra days at the end. The apartment in Disentis was comfortable, spacious, clean, and in a great location. It had everything we could have needed, and dealing with him was a pleasure. I hope we return one day. Hilda

After two years of the COVID-19 pandemic and strict rules, my friends and I were finally planning a ski trip and found this apartment online. I spoke with the owner on the evening of February 1, 2022, and he said he'd send me a quote for one apartment. Around 7 the next morning, he emailed an offer and gave me 24 hours to respond. Just five hours later, though, another email said the apartment had gone to someone else, without notice or any chance for me to reply. I'm 50, and I've never encountered this kind of dishonest behavior from people working in Swiss tourism. A sad, negative booking experience with an unfriendly owner. Netherlands, 02 Feb 2022
