The bathroom had a funny throwback feel, with brown see-through plastic taps and shower fittings in a waterproof bathroom pod. A bit dated, but it worked, the shower pressure was good, and everything was clean with towels provided. The room itself was tidy and warm, maybe from underfloor heating, and the pillows were nice. Self-service made it feel impersonal, though that was fine.

The vineyard view from the second floor was lovely, and the bed was comfortable with clean sheets. There’s also free outdoor parking. Beyond that, the place felt disappointing: the building is run down, there’s no air conditioning even when it’s over 35°C outside, and the entrance has no lock despite there being no staff on duty at night. The shower fittings are old and tired, and everything feels cheap. For that price, I’d expect a four-star hotel in Munich.

The rooms were spacious and very clean, with everything provided. The bedding was fresh and the beds were super comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it.

A quick walk gets you to some nice cafes, and the view over Lake Geneva is beautiful. We had a fantastic stay at Amanthos Living in Nyon. The apartment was really cozy and had all the amenities you could ask for. I can’t recommend it enough.

The location was nice and the place was clean, but it wasn’t quite what we expected. There were no employees around, and the child’s bed felt like a piece of wood.
