We booked dinner at the hotel’s FondueStübli restaurant a day ahead, and it was lovely. The room was cozy and nicely decorated, the staff were polite and attentive, and the fondue was really tasty. We’d love to come back soon.

We came looking for somewhere relaxed to have fondue with friends, and someone recommended the hotel restaurant. The traditional fondue was immaculate, with bread and potatoes included. Our waitress Simona was adorable. The restaurant really blew me away, and I’d highly recommend it.

Our family had a very comfortable few nights in the Alpine family room. The layout worked well for us, the beds were comfy, and everyone enjoyed the stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast room was so cute. It got a little warm during the day, though, so a small fan in each room would be a nice addition even if the nights are cold. I’d love to return.

Be careful booking here. After a reservation is made, the hotel changes the room rate and cancels at the last minute if you won't pay more. I consider these illegal practices and an attempt at fraud.

The mattress and pillows in our room weren't great, though the ones in the renovated, more expensive rooms may be better. Otherwise we loved the stay: the hotel was clean, breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly. We could also charge our electric car for a reasonable price in the hotel's free parking lot.
