The staff recommended other restaurants in town and helped us book tables, and the hotel itself has two delicious restaurants. My husband and I loved our ski trip stay at Hotel Waldegg. We were welcomed with champagne while taking in the beautiful mountain views, and our room was upgraded. The spa was perfect after a day on the slopes. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to accommodate us. Highly recommend, and hope to return.

My favorite hotel in Engelberg, with stunning mountain views that make the mornings unforgettable. The atmosphere is breathtaking, and the staff are so kind and caring, treating guests like family and paying attention to the little things. The Thai food is unbelievably delicious, authentic, beautifully presented, and full of soul. The rooms are beautifully designed and comfortable, just right for relaxing, and there’s even a complimentary mini bar. The staff are exceptionally friendly and the service is outstanding. If you enjoy the sauna, this place will feel like paradise. I wish I could give it six stars!

We didn't get to stay overnight, though waking up to that view must be incredible. The restaurant has the best view in Engelberg, hands down, and the atmosphere was just right with a talented pianist. The Thai food was delicious, and you can feel how much love the owners put into every detail. 10/10 Marco and Ada
