Hôtel Restaurant Eden

We ate there twice and enjoyed the food, views, and service. One visit was during the CIME festivities, when the menu was limited, but the food was still very good. The chicken and vegetarian lasagna were delicious, and so was the burger.

The woman working there was really friendly and gave us good tips for hikes nearby. I even thought about staying a second night, but they were full. It was a real pleasure staying here, with a cosy, authentic feel, great food, a nice room, clean white bedsheets, a balcony, and a very reasonable price. Dinner and breakfast were tasty and high quality. I especially appreciated how many vegetables were in the mixed salad at dinner. Breakfast came with great bread, homemade granola, local jams, hard-boiled eggs, and an amazing view from the table.

From my room and balcony, I could make out part of Dent Balance and Dent Perroc. What a view. The hotel is in a lovely village in a beautiful valley, with incredible mountains all around. It's an old place with hardly any renovation, which is just how I like it.

The staff made me feel so welcome and helped me work out what to do the next day. I also ate well in the kitchen, and my room was clean, comfortable, and had its own bathroom and toilet. The view was stunning, and even though the bus stop is only a few meters away, it was quiet. I can't think of a single thing that went wrong. I'd give it six stars if Google allowed it. Hope I can come back soon!
