6/10
The location made getting around easy, with lots of parking and a short walk to the Coop or gondola station. The rooms look modern, the showers are great, and dogs are welcome. But the rooms get really hot day and night without air conditioning or fans, so you have to leave a door open. Then smoke from other guests can drift inside. The WiFi was very unreliable too and could use more routers or boosters. We never saw anyone at reception during our stay, which would be a problem if you got locked out or needed help.

The owners and managers were friendly, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, too. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the train station, and the price felt fair by Swiss standards.

Marco’s knowledge of the local bike trails and routes was especially helpful. He and the whole team really make an effort to give you a good stay in Fiesch and the surrounding area. The rooms were quiet, with big balconies, and everything was very clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent as well. I’ll definitely come back.

The restaurant food was delicious, and the bar was a highlight, especially with such a huge choice of gin. The hotel itself is lovely and cozy, comfortable in every way. The host and staff were welcoming and friendly. I’d recommend it 10/10.

We were disappointed with our stay at Hotel Cristiana. We gave 24 hours’ notice, but they still refused to cancel our friends’ room because of Covid. The ride to the ski lift was good, but nobody had told us we needed to book spa times. It was fully booked for our entire stay, and reception didn’t try to help. For $250 a night, the basic room and mediocre breakfast were hard to accept when we couldn’t use the spa. We won’t be back.
