Landhotel Linde Fislisbach

The Linde is a lovely country inn, and its restaurant is my favorite in the Baden area. Swiss dishes come with a slightly exotic touch, and the garden, interior, food, and service all make a great impression. It’s a family-run place with longtime staff, so guests can feel that warmth. If you want a break from the bustle of Zurich or Baden while still being looked after to a high standard, I’d recommend it.

The food is really tasty, and there’s plenty of space along with free parking. Prices are on the high side, but it’s among the best restaurants around Baden. I’d suggest booking ahead.

The setting is peaceful, with a wide green landscape around it, which works well if you’re traveling with a dog. The hotel blends traditional and modern styles nicely. There’s also a restaurant, with an interesting wine selection.

Everything we ordered was cooked just right and served well, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The menu has typical Swiss food alongside seasonal classics. We had dinner at Restaurant and Hotel Linde, where the senior owner gave us a warm welcome and showed us to our table. The place has been renovated beautifully, still feeling cosy and warm, with lots of detail across the different rooms. We’ll definitely return. Restaurants like this are unfortunately becoming rare.
