The food was good, and the staff were friendly, but two things made the birthday dinner feel disappointing. We asked for no green garnish on my dish, yet it arrived covered in chopped parsley. They only brushed it off, leaving bits behind, and didn't offer a replacement or anything else, so I ate just the fries. We'd also been given a dark corner table when we arrived with our baby, even though we had a reservation and the restaurant was nearly empty at 5pm. We politely asked for a seat with a view and were moved across the room. I understand they might have worried the baby would disturb other diners, but it made for a poor first impression. If you're expecting a professional attitude, this isn't the place.

The food was excellent, and the portions were generous. There was a seasonal menu, and everything was very clean. Our waiter was attentive, though a bit too flirty for my liking. I'd visit again. Getting there is easy, but the parking lot gets very busy. It's right beside a busy main road, so getting in and out can be tricky.

We stopped for lunch, not an overnight stay. The food was very good, the staff were lovely, and the lake view from this nice location was beautiful.
