Apartment Lala

We stayed at Studio Arturo marketplace instead, after being told there was a hot water issue at Apartment Lala. It turned out to be amazing, with a great location just a two-minute walk from the station and brilliant amenities and cleanliness. Mr Mario picked us up at the station when we arrived, and he and his wife Daniela were both very warm hosts. I stayed there with my mom two weeks ago. Thank you for making it such a great stay.

I was unsure about booking, since finding a private bathroom and kitchen in Interlaken seemed almost impossible unless you chose a hostel with shared bathrooms or paid a lot. But this apartment was much better than I expected. It’s a small place about a 10-minute walk from Interlaken Bahnhof, with a private corridor for shoes and other things outside the living area. There’s enough bed space for two, plus an extra couch if you need another sleeping spot. The table and two chairs work for eating or working. The private bathroom has a shower, basin, and commode. The kitchen is really well equipped, with a microwave, toast maker, capsule coffee machine and cream, a fridge with beers and juice, plus the pans, plates, and crockery you need. The internet connection was great at 49 mbps, plenty for work or browsing. The windows have an awesome mountain view, and the apartment is soundproof. The hosts were friendly and did everything they could to help with our trip. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Mario was always available with information or help, and gave excellent service. The room is a little small, but it’s a studio apartment, more like Japanese-style living.

The location, cleanliness, facilities, and arrangements were all fabulous. We felt at home away from home. Daniela was so kind and cooperative, probably the best host, and we’ll definitely come back. Thank you so much, Daniela. Dr Rahul Ray
