Nimbuzzz Apartments

The apartment is on the third floor with no elevator, and the washer and dryer are down in the basement. The hosts were helpful and kept in touch when we had concerns. It's in a good spot near a frequently used bus stop for Interlaken Ost and West, with a very good cafe around the corner. Just outside the main drag, it was quieter at night. The river is right there too, and refreshing for a summer dip, though cold. A binder in several common languages explaining the lights, oven, stovetop, windows, stairwell lights, and washer and dryer would help. For hot summer nights, box fans in each bedroom would be useful. If they're concerned about electricity costs, maybe they could run only while guests are home. August 2025 was abnormally warm, but without the portable fan I brought, I'd have been sweating all night. My main complaint was the pillows and bedding, which felt like a college dorm. The bed needs an upgrade too. I gave it five stars because I want the Airbnb to do well, but better bedding and fans would help future guests. And sorry again for the accidental one-star rating.

The place was peaceful and had enough space for all five of us, and I loved how close it was to Interlaken West station, about a 10-minute walk. The tricky part was getting our bags up three floors on the narrow wooden stairs. There were no curtains on any of the windows, which felt especially exposed in the ground-floor studio. People outside could see straight in, and we could see and hear everyone on the street.

The place wasn't clean, and there was no air conditioning.
