Dinner at the restaurant was very tasty and well prepared, though a bit on the expensive side. The staff were super friendly too. We enjoyed the stay in this newly renovated hotel, which has a 400 year history. They’ve done a great job keeping its old-time charm while adding modern comforts. We’ll definitely return when we visit Fribourg.

We enjoyed the intimate celler where dinner was served, and the staff were kind. The cuisine is gourmet and based on local products, in a beautifully renovated small hotel. Breakfast was fresh and thoughtfully offered, unlike the all-you-can-eat buffets at big hotels that create so much waste. The Sauvage focuses on quality. My husband and I had a lovely stay last weekend, and we hope to come back.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the rooms were impeccably clean. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive from the start, and the service left nothing to be desired. Hotel Le Sauvage in Fribourg exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it and will definitely return. Thank you for everything.

It’s a modern, very clean hotel in a traditional building. Our room was nice and large, with a comfortable bed, and the service was friendly and attentive. Breakfast had a somewhat smaller selection than at other hotels, but the quality and taste were excellent. We’d definitely recommend it to friends and family.

I didn’t stay overnight, but I got to look at the rooms, and they were very clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly too. I also ate at the hotel restaurant and had a great experience, with delicious food made from fresh ingredients.
