The room had a nice design, and I appreciated the blackout curtains. But it was extremely cold even after I turned up the temperature, with 8° outside, and the AC kept turning down. I couldn't sleep at times because of the cold. Breakfast was the biggest letdown, along with the receptionists' lack of hospitality. I told them the day before my stay that I'm vegan and asked them to make sure there would be a few options. I also asked if they could arrange almond milk because I'm intolerant to soy. They said they would check with the manager, but when I asked again two days later, I was told they only had soy and lactose-free milk. Lactose-free milk obviously wasn't an option for me, and soy wasn't either. What I could eat was jam, bread that wasn't kept separate from other products, oats, the usual few fruits, and cut-up cucumber. There were also moldy cherry tomatoes beside the meat, which disgusted me even more and left me with no appetite. That was all for me, and it was disappointing even for one day. Having it for 8 days was just unbelievable. The 2 star hotel I stayed at the night before had gone the extra mile: they prepared bread that wasn't contaminated by other products, had three kinds of cereal I could eat and two plant-based milk alternatives, and one receptionist checked every breakfast item and noted what was okay for me. I expected more from a 4 star hotel. One receptionist also assumed all the cereal was okay, but when I checked the ingredients myself, two kinds had honey and milk and were inedible. The receptionists I dealt with seemed uninformed and unconcerned. I don't assume they meant any harm, but I do expect people in hospitality to care and know about this. Please offer more options, even if there aren't many vegans in the area yet. We're still paying customers and deserve more than 3 breakfast items 🫩

One staff member handled our check-in, prepared the extra bed, and even sorted out the welcome drink, all on her own. She was clearly doing her best and deserves praise, but the poor organization behind her really needs attention from management. We had booked for three people, yet the room was only ready for two when we arrived.

The hotel was clean and nicely located, about a 10 minute walk from plenty of restaurants. There was parking right in front too.

The breakfast buffet was fresh, had plenty of variety, and catered to different tastes. It was a great way to start the day, and we'll be back. We used the hotel as our base for the trip, and it exceeded our expectations. Across our second stay, 4 nights plus 2 nights, we were upgraded from a junior suite to the main suite, which was a nice surprise. The main suite was spacious and luxurious, but its small, basic corner shower felt out of place. The junior suite had a roomy Italian shower that was much better for a relaxing, intimate experience.
