Tor Hotel Geneve

Breakfast delivered right to the room was a lovely touch. The staff were helpful, and they let us leave our bags after checkout so we could pick them up after one last day of exploring. It's a lovely little hotel in a great location, and the room was very comfortable.

The staff clearly care about their guests. They sent the free Geneva transportation card several days in advance and followed up more than once to make sure it arrived. Our room was just the right size, and breakfast came to the room on a large plate packed with food, exactly on time. The location is great, close to everything.

The best part was how punctual they were. We asked for breakfast at 7 a.m., and it arrived exactly at 7. The receptionist was very friendly, and the hotel was clean with a room that was spacious enough. It's only a few minutes' walk from the city centre and the lake. I can definitely recommend this place!

Good value if you're on a budget and don't mind keeping things simple. My room was small but clean and enough for me, with a private shower. I hadn't noticed when booking that the WC was shared, not private, but it was well stocked and kept very clean throughout the day. The staff were helpful and accommodating. There were plenty of towels and the sheets were nice. I'd read reviews about the lack of AC; my days were warm, but because the room faced north, keeping the blinds down and using the fan was enough to stay comfortable. If you want somewhere fancier, The Four Seasons is literally across the street at five times the price. Have at it.
