We spent five nights in the apartment, which had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. The hotel has a restaurant and plenty of parking, and it’s very quiet with no traffic at all. Nice lake view too.
We stayed here once at Christmas in 2023 and again in November 2024, and both visits were wonderful. The lake views are spectacular. At breakfast I asked the lady who manages the place about the chocolate paste, and she kindly gave us a jar as we checked out. We’ll definitely visit again. Cheers!
The rooms were clean and nice, and the staff were so friendly, sweet, and accommodating. Hotel Restaurant Platten is a wonderful hotel on top of a mountain in Schwzyn Kanto. The restaurant food was impeccable and delicious, and breakfast came with a generous spread of cheeses, hams, cereals, and fruit.
We stopped here for a night on our way to Italy, then decided to stay another night on the way back. The family room had a double bed and a single bed, and we were very pleased with it. The rooms are clean and cozy, the staff are friendly, and the restaurant is very good. It’s a quiet guest house with an outstanding view of the mountains and lake, and prices are a bit lower than at hotels. A good stop on a journey or a place to get away from big cities and the fuss. Don’t expect a sophisticated breakfast, though. It isn’t a hotel like Ibis or Best Western.
The shower was great, and the room had everything you’d need. We stayed one night and have no complaints. Unreal views, lovely food, and friendly staff.
