I spent a week working from the hotel room while my partner had an assignment in Gland, and it worked perfectly. The WiFi was steady for calls, there was plenty of space and light, and I had a balcony. The train station is right in front, but with the windows closed you barely notice it. The owner was lovely and shared tips for exploring the region. The staff were kind, and the space and breakfast were great. I fully recommend it.

For work in Gland, I’ve stayed at hotel glanis for a week at a time each year over the last 3 years. It’s ideally placed, with the train station just a few steps away and a minute by train to Nyon for shopping. The rooms are impeccably clean, breakfast is great, and the staff are the best. I was concerned the train station might be noisy, but I can barely hear it. From my balcony there’s a nice lake view, and the room is modern and clean. The restaurant is surprisingly good, too.

Dinner was superb, and breakfast was generous and great. The service was the best part, kind and excellent. We spent a night here during Corona, and it was such a great experience. The hotel is well placed between Lausanne and Geneva, and as soon as we walked in, it felt like home.

We didn't hear any trains from our room, even though the hotel is very close to the railway station. It’s a convenient, comfortable, friendly base for visiting Geneva and Lausanne with our son, who is doing part of his year abroad.
