Appart'Hôtel Residence Dizerens

I’ve only been here three nights so far, with four more to go before my seven-day stay ends next week, and I’m very happy with everything.

I’ve already spent about 40 nights here because I often come to Geneva for work. Everything runs smoothly, from making or changing a reservation to check-in and checkout. The beds are comfortable, and I like having a kitchenette. It suits my needs perfectly, and I can only recommend it.

The good things first: the rooms are nice and clean, the location is good, the water pressure is excellent, and the one staff member I met was incredibly kind. But I was genuinely disappointed and wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. The shower temperature kept swinging between too cold and too hot. I arrived while reception was supposed to be open, but nobody was there. I happened to run into an employee, who kindly checked me in, but the whole process was just handing over keys. They didn’t check my ID or anything. The Wi-Fi didn’t work. I told staff about it three times during my five-day stay, but it was never fixed. I was travelling for work and needed it, so I ended up spending quite a bit on an eSIM data plan to get work done. I told the staff about that too, but my messages went unanswered. I’d read that the bar directly below could be loud, so I brought earplugs, and the noise bothered me less. What did make me feel incredibly unsafe as a woman travelling alone was coming across a random group of drunk men who weren’t hotel guests but somehow had the key code to the front door.

The bathroom fan would switch on by itself, then keep running for several minutes after I turned off the lights. Apart from that, the small room was comfortable, and I appreciated the feather pillows. It was a good place for a business trip.
