Anstatthotel.ch Hochdorf

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. Getting around was easy too, since Anstatthotel Hochdorf is only a few minutes from the station. Everything went smoothly, and we felt looked after. We’d happily come back.

We really liked the place. The tram stop is very close, and the room and service were superb and quick. We had a fantastic stay for nine nights.

The church bells were so loud from room 208 that I couldn’t sleep, even with the windows shut. I’d specifically requested a quiet room when booking, but that request was ignored. After only two hours of sleep, I called the hotel the next morning to ask about changing rooms. They said they were full, which I understand, but customer service was extremely rude and asked if I expected them to change the church, adding that this is how it is in Switzerland. I don’t expect anyone to change the church, but better insulated windows and a polite response would have gone a long way. The room itself was simple and clean. I regret booking this hotel.

Everything was fine and very clean, though the bathroom sink was missing its plug, which was a bit of a letdown. I’d recommend the place to anyone who asks.
