The rooms have been renovated and were comfortable, though not especially spacious, and you can hear other guests pretty easily. Breakfast had a good range of quality food and coffee, while the restaurant served solid Swiss fare. For the price, it’s a dependable hotel. Just don’t expect luxury amenities or world class dining.

The parking meter outside is simply awful. Restaurant service is unpredictable too: one visit was great, the next was very poor. There are plenty of better working options for parking.

Lunch and dinner at the restaurant were good, and parking was no problem. The hotel itself feels more like two stars than three. Rooms are small and plain, with only one small towel and one medium one, and no kettle or fridge. Mine was a bit cold, as seems common in Swiss hotels. Breakfast was very basic too.

There’s a lovely playground for children, and outside you can enjoy ice cream while watching the little planes take off and land. We were lucky enough to see two old DC-2s start up. Hearing those engines was such a treat.

The rooms are simple but comfortable and very clean. Staff were helpful and creative, and the food was excellent with options for every budget. A unique place and good value for money.
