We had the Rosti, macaroni and cheese, pork schnitzel, and apple strudel, and enjoyed every dish. Prices were reasonable and the food was good. We stopped for lunch on the weekend before hiking to Mannlichen. Even with the restaurant busy, the crew stayed very friendly and accommodating.

After three days without warm water, the hot showers here felt amazing. Our dormitory was comfortable and had a stunning view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. At sunset, Kleine Scheidegg became completely quiet, and just one other guest and I got to enjoy the breathtaking scene in peace. Kleine Scheidegg is usually packed with daytime tourists, so I wasn't sure what this accommodation would be like. It exceeded my expectations. Service was quick and consistently friendly, which isn't a given in touristy places. The half-board food was delicious, especially breakfast. 10/10, absolutely recommend staying here.

Friendly, efficient service and lots of vegetarian choices, plus it's kid friendly. We had delicious fondue and rosti with a gorgeous view. It's really convenient for hikers on the panoramic trail. Hope to come back after another long hike!

The views are amazing and the prices reasonable. But Americans should know that people here despise them, so study up on German and try to look local. Otherwise, expect dirty looks and very long waits before anyone takes your order or seats you. You can't order drinks at the bar either.
