From the terrace, you can see the Eiger North Face, and the house itself is fantastic: spotless, well equipped with kitchen utensils, and even has an elevator. There’s room for four with the sofa bed in the living room, and I thought it was good value among Grindelwald chalets. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the Grindelwald terminal. That uphill walk can be a bit daunting with luggage, though it’s handy to be so close. I booked through Interhome; communication through Agoda or similar providers can be a little tricky, but it wasn’t a major issue.
