This Chalet is named after my grandmother, and it means a lot to our family. My mother grew up here, and now we travel from our home in San Francisco to visit. My daughter took her first steps in the kitchen on this trip, which is my favorite room in the house. It feels warm and inviting, whether we’re having coffee in the soft morning light or a cosy family dinner in the evening. After a bike ride or hike, we love unwinding on the front porch. The location is unbeatable, a 15-minute walk to two ski lifts, the grocery store, hiking and biking trails, and restaurants, with the Gstaaderhof right next door. The chalet is simple and clean, full of natural light, and really feels like home.
