The staff were especially friendly, and the location was excellent. We really enjoyed the fresh, healthy breakfast choices. The rooms were clean and modern, with great lighting and high-quality bedding. The mattress could use an upgrade, though.

The peaceful surroundings and mountain views made our 2-day stay in Artois Interlaken on 26-27 May2026 memorable. We were also impressed by the hotel's connection with an elderly care home, and it was inspiring to see its efforts to bring generations together and include everyone. The staff were friendly, professional and genuinely caring. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the service and Swiss hospitality made us feel welcome. The location was convenient, within walking distance of Interlaken Ost station, with abus stop right outside the hotel.

We were disappointed by what happened during our 3-night stay. USD 300 went missing from a wallet we had hidden in our bag, and we only noticed after landing in Dubai. We never expected to have this experience in Switzerland. We saw more than 4 reviews mentioning cash stolen from rooms, and management should respond to each of them and take action. Also, there's no electric kettle or coffee or tea in the room. We had to go down to the ground floor for coffee and hot water.

I didn't realize when I booked that the hotel is part of a group of self-described Christian Hotels. The hotel itself was fine, clean and well presented, and the staff were friendly. That kind of clientele may suit some guests, but the 'Christian' atmosphere in the restaurant wasn't for me, so I ate elsewhere. That's the only reason I won't return.

The location is excellent, in a quiet, upscale neighborhood facing the mountains. The hotel is neat and part of an elder care facility. Staff were attentive, really nice, and smart, and breakfast was plentiful with lots of tasty choices. The gym, spa, and relaxation rooms are a bit of a hidden secret. We had a very pleasant stay.
