A1 Grauholz Hotel

The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped. Breakfast was very simple, and the lobby atmosphere wasn’t especially pleasant. It’s right beside the highway, but fine for a night.

Breakfast didn’t have enough food, and the only woman working there kept checking on us as if we were suspicious and might eat everything. It made me very uncomfortable, something I’ve never experienced at another hotel. We also had only cold water in the bathroom during our four-night stay, which was completely unbearable. I hope they address these problems, but I’ll never return and wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

We were relieved to leave. The breakfast staff came over screaming at my parents, a senior couple who were sitting and eating, in German. The staff were rude and disrespectful, and their attitude made the whole stay unbearable. I’d read earlier reviews mentioning poor service and staff, and management should take those comments seriously. It was a horrible experience. Stay away.

The free snacks and drinks waiting for us when we arrived were a nice touch. But the room was only 14 m2, far too small for four people, and one of the beds was mobile and really unsuitable for an adult. The pillows were much too soft.
