Free parking right beside the hotel was a great bonus. I stayed at Hotel Blümlisalp in mid-October and found it calm, clean, and genuinely friendly. My top-floor room was quiet, clean, and comfortable thanks to the heating already being on, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff were welcoming and helpful at reception and at breakfast. Breakfast was simple and fresh. Scrambled eggs might be a nice addition, but everything was great overall. I’d highly recommend it as a place to stay in Kandersteg.

I loved staying here. The room was comfortable, cozy, and quiet, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. It’s in a good location with easy access to lots of hikes. Breakfast tasted a little bland, but since it was included at no extra cost, I didn’t mind. I’d stay here again if I return to Kandersteg.

Off season, dinner choices were scarce, so we tried this place and ended up having what might have been the best meal of our whole trip. Everything was amazing, and the staff made us feel welcome from the start. Highly recommend.

We stayed two nights and loved how close the hotel is to the Oeschinesee cable lift. The room felt spacious compared with nearby hotels, the beds were comfortable, and guest parking was free. There’s also self-service laundry, and breakfast was delicious. The owner was lovely and accommodating. I’d seen a comment about feeling watched, but I found her helpful and hospitable. Even the kitchen staff at breakfast were attentive, and they made me a smiley latte macchiato, a nice start to the day. If we return to Kandersteg, this will be our first choice. Great value, highly recommend.

The breakfast spread had fruit, jams, yogurt, seeds, bread, meat, cheese, and especially tasty banana bread. They even filled our water bottles with ice-cold water for the day. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we had a nice balcony at this well-located hotel. We can’t wait to visit again.
