The food was good, made with quality ingredients and prepared well. The house salad was the one letdown. The tables are small, but the place feels intimate.

Walserhof is a lovely, cosy, romantic place for dinner with friends, and the service is really friendly. The menu is small but full of inspiration. Pick something and ask about the wine. Your only dilemma will be which season to choose, winter or summer? Chef Jos Keurentjes looks after his guests wonderfully. Just be ready for him to join you at your table.

People who remember the hotel and restaurant in their heyday will probably cringe at how they look now. It's a shame to see this former gastronomic gem treated so poorly. It seems to have ended up in the wrong hands. At least the competition can be pleased: the ibex across the street looks better than ever.

Beautiful alpine atmosphere, excellent food, and perfect service. We came for dinner and thought it was very good value. We'd love to come back.
