The room wasn't clean, and the bathroom was dirty too. I don't think anyone had cleaned the balcony in 10 years. When we arrived, the key was at reception with a paper showing the room number, but no explanation. Parking was advertised as free, but it was only free at night and for the first two hours.

We were looking forward to eating by the lake, but the meal turned into a really bad experience. After half an hour, the wrong food arrived, so we waited another 30 minutes for the right dishes. The manager barely apologized for the hour-long wait and the mistake. He was arrogant, condescending, and very rude. I don't usually write reviews, but this was bad.

The food was delicious, especially the filets de perche, the best I've ever had. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff welcoming and hospitable. It's a beautiful place, with a lovely balcony and a great view. I look forward to coming back!

The restaurant is closed on Wednesday, but they offer an amazing cold plate meal @chaybix. The hotel sits right on La Lac De Joux, with a stunning view of the lake and mountains. It's a beautiful scenic area for a walk.
