The food was incredible, with local dishes at affordable prices, and the staff were attentive and kind to us and our two dogs. Gasthaus Edelweiss sits in a beautiful valley and is well connected by train for exploring the area. We had a great time and would recommend it without hesitation. We only stopped briefly at Edelweiss Gasthaus today, but what a lovely place and a great mountain view. The man with the ponytail who served us was the kindest, sweetest person in the Alps. P.S. Thanks for the coffee. xxx

Thomas, the owner, was awesome and took such good care of us. The food was incredible too, and we couldn’t find a single fault. Our room was lovely and clean, with spectacular mountain views. This was an absolutely amazing stay, and the best hospitality I’ve experienced. 5 🌟

There’s plenty of hiking nearby, and the train station is a ten-minute walk through the village. The village itself, parking, clean rooms and breakfast were all superb, and the restaurant has plenty of evening choices, so meals aren’t an issue. The staff were friendly throughout the day and made us feel comfortable. The drive from Chur is a bit remote, with those 73 curves the staff mentioned. It’s an enjoyable drive, but go slowly around the bends since kids might feel sick.

The food at the hotel was out of this world, especially Jeanette's Grillteller. Thomas was amazing, attentive to every detail, from getting to know us to hosting and entertaining. The locals were especially lovely too. The hotel has a cozy mountain feel and spectacular views, and my snug bed had a lovely window view. There’s a train just around the corner, plus a local shop and tourist guide shop. One of the best stays I’ve had in years of traveling abroad.
