We were told the room had been double-booked because of a supposed system error while we were on our way to the hotel. They sent us to a different hotel in Alvaneu instead. We declined the dinner they offered as compensation, since that hotel was much cheaper, and said we should at least pay its prices. The next day, we passed by and saw a “Rooms Available” sign. When we asked about it, staff said they'd forgotten to take it down. It was still there on Saturday evening and Sunday morning. We won't book there again. The staff weren't honest with us.
