The railway artwork was lovely, especially the detailed model railway built into the floor of the dining area. The hotel was very clean, and breakfast was complimentary and nice. Staff were friendly, accommodating, and fluent in English; they gave us free metro passes and helpful suggestions for things to do. I'd highly recommend it and would definitely stay again.

The staff were a real credit to the hotel. Everyone, from the doormen to reception, was caring, honest, knowledgeable, and lovely. They couldn't do enough for us. The hotel also felt extremely safe and is brilliantly located for local attractions. We loved our stay and will certainly be back soon.

The room was a little dated, but comfortable enough. I stayed for a few nights in May 2018 and, as a light sleeper, was glad I didn't hear any train noise. The hotel is conveniently right by the train station and a short walk from the funicular tram.

The breakfast was really nice, and I loved the decor, it made me feel like I was in 1980. The rooms are typically small and adorable, with very comfortable beds and refurbished bathrooms. You can hear and feel the train coming, though, since the hotel is close to the station.

The smell of old furniture was so strong that I couldn't rate the hotel higher. I had stayed at a place in the centre of Geneve that was half the price, much more modern, and smelled far more pleasant. I had to open the windows in cold weather to air out the room, and it ended up quite cold.
