Hotel Mirabeau

It's an absolutely lovely hotel, within walking distance of the train station. Our room was spacious, with French windows and a powerful shower, which I always appreciate. The staff were very helpful with sightseeing tips, and they managed to get our laundry done in a day even though we'd missed the deadline. There's a great little chocolate shop called Durig nearby, plus both a Coop and a Migros. I'd definitely stay again!

We had a great two-night stay at Mirabeau hotel, and it exceeded what I expected. Our Superior double room worked well for two adults and our 2yo toddler, with plenty of room for our things. It was on the first floor, so there was no lake view, but the huge balcony was useful. The hotel is old, with a nice old-time feel and art deco touches, but it's well maintained, comfortable, and clean. The air conditioner worked great. We found the location convenient, a few minutes from the main station and within walking distance of most places in the city. The staff were kind and accommodating, and the price was reasonable for such a nice place. The restaurant on the ground floor was good too, so we could have dinner at the hotel. There are a few steps up to the entrance, which could be awkward with a stroller, wheelchair, or large luggage. We'll definitely choose it again when we're in Lausanne!

The beds were really comfortable, the food was pleasant, and the room was nice and medium-sized, as was the bathroom. It's a four-star hotel, but it felt like a ten-star one to me. I loved the place and had an awesome stay. I'd recommend it.

The clean, comfortable room and friendly, professional staff made for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the hotel is conveniently placed near both the train station and the city center. It was good value. There was noise from the busy street, especially with the window open. Parking costs 25 CHF per day and isn't on-site, which was inconvenient.
