Room 309 had a beautiful view of the cathedral, and the hotel is right by the Metro station with lots to do nearby. For the price, service, and location, I’d give it five stars. Judith and Leon were great and as helpful as anyone could be. Our room was lovely. People mention the heat, but it was summer and the staff warn guests. It’s not a 5-star hotel and there’s no A/C, though there are fans in the rooms and we’d been told about it. We were absolutely fine. Breakfast is worth paying a little extra for: an unlimited, help yourself buffet with a great spread of hot and cold food, juice, hot drinks, bread, eggs, fruit, and yogurt. They should open both doors in the breakfast room in summer for comfort, but it wasn’t a big deal.

The entrance is unattractive and the decor feels dingy. The rooms are well appointed, though having the shower over the bath was inconvenient. There’s no bar, and breakfast is the only meal offered. The Metro is very convenient, and some rooms on the upper floors have good views.

The value was a real bargain by Swiss standards. Downstairs, the gym and sauna were good quality and nice and quiet, though maybe I just got lucky. My bed was really comfortable, and the room was lovely, stylish, and well decorated, with a great bathroom. Great place.

The view from our room was simply wonderful, and the service was friendly. The location is perfect, and the rooms were very clean and big enough. The hard part was the heat: with no AC, summer was uncomfortable. They did provide a fan, but the room was still very hot, and leaving the windows open made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

Zilan was the best, so nice and helpful, and she helped with anything I needed. She also gave me tips for getting around, and I had the best trip because of her. Leon was super nice too. When I first arrived, the manager wasn’t nice to me.
