The room was simple and clean, and the staff were pleasant and happy to answer questions. It's a quiet area, close to the lake and under a 10 minute walk from the city centre. Breakfast was good, though not excellent, and I'd have preferred a shower.

The family hotel gave us a warm welcome, and the atmosphere was lovely. The lake and town are both close by. It's not a fancy stay, just what you need to enjoy the city, and the value for money is the best.

The hotel feels personally run, with a friendly welcome, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit salad, homemade yogurt, and different kinds of bread. It's near the centre in a quiet area, and both the city centre and train station are an easy walk away.

The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the balcony looked out over a park. Breakfast featured local products and was good, though there's no restaurant at the hotel. There's no parking either, but reception can give you a blue zone permit. The Ticino couple who own this lovely little place are welcoming and speak all three national languages perfectly. It's quiet and very close to Locarno's city centre. We came away with very fond memories of our time in Ticino.
