Pardo Bar

We only stopped in for the pub, and had a great time. The atmosphere and garden were lovely, the staff very friendly, and there was a big range of local and international beers. It's close to piazza grand too. Looking forward to another visit. Cheers!

The rooms have been nicely renovated in a classic building, and the location is very good. There's a pub downstairs, so light sleepers should keep that in mind, though the window insulation isn't bad. We had great fun there, with plenty of drinks and beers, including gluten-free options.

Pardo Bar has become my regular beer spot in Locarno. As a sous chef in a Michelin-starred kitchen, I notice quality and attention to detail, and the beer list really impresses me, with local and international niche options from hoppy IPAs to rich stouts. The staff know their beer and are enthusiastic about helping you try something different. There's more to it than the beer. Pardo Bar has a retro feel with a bit of a punk atmosphere, plus an outdoor area, a pool table, darts, and a couple of beer pong tables. It's a fun place to unwind with friends over a few drinks. If you love beer or just want somewhere to hang out, it's well worth a visit.
