Funny Farm Backpackers

We had a spacious private room with a bathroom, two balconies, a large double bed, and a smaller bed. There was plenty of room for a wardrobe, dining table, and desk too. The decor had a nice 80s feel. The curtains kept out the sun fairly well, but the light still bothered us in the early morning, so something that blocks it better would help. Otherwise, everything was very good. The hotel has a big, nicely decorated lobby with common areas for relaxing and meeting people, plus tables for eating and a huge garden with views. It's a shame the pool wasn't open, since that would have added a lot. The place caught our eye right away. Parking by the entrance was easy, check-in was quick, and they showed us how to reach the room. I'd recommend it if you're passing through: comfortable, clean, and equipped for a normal stay. We'll come back in the future.

We had a private room with its own bathroom and balcony, and it was great. The room was warm, the shower water super hot, and the view amazing. We stayed in room 222. Staff were really friendly, and check-in and check-out were easy. There are also a cute cat and dog living there. The grounds are gorgeous. The hotel is old and could use some updating, but I found it beautiful, and its age is part of its charm. It felt like stepping back in time. For the price, it was a perfect, pleasant stay in Interlaken. I don't know why it has such poor reviews, and we'd absolutely return.

The balcony view was very nice, and the staff were friendly. There are lots of things to play with in the lounge. We booked two rooms for seven people and got eight beds. One of the most affordable places to stay in Interlaken.

There’s a shared kettle, oven, and disposable bowls, plates, and cutlery. The rooms are cozy, with a mountain view from the balcony. A good place to stay.
