The room has a nicely stocked library, and the setting was ideal for lovely hikes in the mountains. We felt comfortable from the very first minute to the last. Breakfast was delicious and always prepared with care, and from bed we could enjoy the garden and mountain views. Thank you so much.
Breakfast was extraordinary, with homemade jams, bread, and local products. The apartment looks out onto the mountains and its surrounding garden, and the only sounds in this quiet, traffic-free neighborhood are birds and the soft murmur of the Reichenbach waterfall. It's a real gem and a perfect base for exploring the region from Meiringen. Highly recommended.
Rainy weather didn't leave us bored at all, we had so many great experiences in the region. We spent wonderful spring days here with our son at the dark blue Maus (Mouse). The Dunkel family were very friendly hosts, and breakfast was excellent. =)
We felt at home right away and would happily come back. The hostess looked after us with such care, and there was a lovely view of the mountains and a well-kept garden. It's a wonderful bed and breakfast, with a great breakfast too.
The hosts were friendly and the atmosphere cozy. We were very pleased with our two-night stay. Breakfast was varied and beautifully laid out. Fantastic place, highly recommended, and we'd come back anytime!
