Frutt Family Lodge

The food was good, though not great, and that was our only criticism. We spent a week at the family lodge and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The whole team was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way for us. Special thanks to Magdalena from the kids club, the absolute rockstar of the week. We’d definitely go again.

The rooms are stylish and spacious, check-in and checkout were smooth, and the spa was nice. The location is awesome, right on the slopes.

The breakfast was very good, with tasty breads, healthy muesli, and the usual egg dishes. The bacon was sliced very thin and was really good. Lunch and drinks are available on the terrace looking out over the lake. Staff were friendly, and there were plenty of them around. This hotel is right by the lake and clearly geared toward families with children. The rooms are spacious, and the extra beds have good mattresses, so you don’t need to feel bad about your child sleeping on one. There’s lots for kids to do: a kids club for little ones, plus PlayStation, bowling, and table football for teens. We rented mountain bikes and had fun. The family spa and pool area are great for smaller kids. For the textile-free adult spa, take the tunnel to the Frutt Spa lodge, where there’s also a bigger pool. One thing to improve would be giving guests a way to control the room temperature without opening a window. It’s a great hotel and worth the premium price.

The rooms are modern and super cozy, with lovely wood furniture. The restaurant is excellent, and the service was very friendly, especially with the kids. There’s a kids club, a small free cinema, and a playground with a real two-lane bowling alley, all very handy. It’s a magical place for families. Getting there is a little complicated because you can’t drive your car up to the hotel, but they make the trip as easy as possible, even with ski equipment.
